Longest haul [was] 60-70 NM. We leave really early, say 4am and try to arrive at about 4pm and get to shore for a big run.
Lewis loves to chase his ball!

Have you made any modifications on your boat to accommodate your dog?

2x green mats – One on the trampoline front and one on the top of the back steps.  Lewis’s boat is a catermaran.

What advice would you like to share with others who have dogs who sail or who are considering having a dog on a boat?

Have one that doesn’t shed hair if possible.
For me not too large; easier to feed , exercise etc.

Train your dog well
Give them plenty of exercise
